Women's Ministries

 
Women's Ministries at Cornerstone are designed to encourage every woman in a personal relationship with Christ. The desire is to provide opportunities for women to grow spiritually, to pray and fellowship together, to encourage and to grieve with one another, and to serve others in the body of Christ. We offer the following:
 
Bible Study
Our purpose is to train women, based on God's Word, to be Godly women within society, family, and the church. To this end, we offer Bible studies geared toward the needs of women.
 
Discipleship
Women mentoring women.  We utilize various formats (speakers, panel discussions, prayer, interaction) to encourage women to grow in their Biblical knowledge and in their love for the Lord.  Two series (four meetings each) are held per year.
 
Special Events
Our purpose is to plan special events for women to help them grow in fellowship and their relationship with Christ. This includes the annual  Women's Retreat.
 
Care and Compassion
On behalf of the congregation, women reach out to the congregation to share their joy and grief. As needed within the church community, women coordinate meals for new moms and those who are sick, send greeting cards to those who need encouragement and help to organize baby and wedding showers.
 
Mercy/Serving
Our purpose is to serve the body of Christ at Cornerstone and to ensure that the church kitchen facilities are stocked with needed items. The team also serves the congregation by decorating the sanctuary for the holiday seasons and special occasions.
