Church Planter and English Teacher

 

Roberta serves with an MTW team that is working to develop a church-multiplication movement among the Japanese.  This work includes evangelism, teaching English as a second language, discipleship, direct church planting, university ministry, training pastoral interns for future ministry, serving on the Presbyterian Church in Japan (PCJ) foreign missions committee, providing ongoing leadership for a nationwide bilingual Gospel-driven church-planting institute, operating a first through twefth grade school for missionary youth, and working with Japanese Christians in starting a school for Japanese covenant children.  The team's vision is to go deeper in the areas of theological education, college ministry, covenant family education, and translation and publication of resource materials.
