Church Planter and Nurse

 

Cheryl originally went to the Philippines in 2001 on a two-year commitment.  While serving there, the Lord confirmed her call to stay in the Philippines as a long term missionary.  Cheryl serves with the MTW church-planting team in Manila and is using her nursing skills to provide mercy ministries with the Filipino people. As the team brings physical healing to the people, they are also given opportunities to share about the Great Physician who can spiritually bring them from death to life.  She is also using her administrative gifts to coordinate both the medical and short-term teams that minister alongside the missionaries there.
