Christmas in April is a local organization that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the homes of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly and disabled.

Patuxent Habitat for Humanity

HFH is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization which builds and renovates houses in partnership with volunteers and families in need, regardless of ethnic or religious background.  The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.
