At Cornerstone, our purpose is to glorify and enjoy God by growing a loving body of faithful disciples and equipping them to reach Southern Maryland and the world for Christ.
To accomplish this purpose we seek to spiritually equip the members of our congregation so that they may grow to maturity in Christ, minister to others and the body of Christ as a whole, and multiply disciples for Jesus Christ.
Equipping our congregation for maturity is accomplished by providing rich, in-depth, bible-based teaching from the pulpit, a wide variety of Sunday School classes for all ages, an active small group ministry, and active family and youth ministries. Our ministries include Men’s and Women’s small groups, numerous mercy and service opportunities, as well as home school and public school ministries. Outreach opportunities to multiply disciples for Christ include annual missions trips, training in Evangelism Explosion, and an active Missions Committee.
